Headed to Sonic MG Owner Summit this weekend.

Well folks, 2009 has brought a year of changes here in the Hub City. From this weeks vote to allow alcohol sales within the Lubbock city limits, to the fallout on Wall Street, being felt here on Main Street. Venture Communications, Inc. finds ourselves in the very blessed and fortunate position of having become so diversified over the last several years, that whether the economy tanks or alcohol gets sold next door, our business model will stand.

Tomorrow, Kyle Prichard, CEO and I will be headed to the Gaylord Texan to attend the Sonic Management Group Owner's Summit. This promises to be an exciting weekend for all the new members of Sonic, but also the owners. Sonic was founded by a good friend of mine, Todd Ebberhart, to facilitate the back office infrastructure that companies like Venture need. All Human Resource, Legal, PR and Marketing resources reside in the Sonic arsenal. I cant wait to see what new things will be unveiled this weekend for all of us.
